Hebrews 11:1 - Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Today I was engaged in an unusual conversation with a colleague regarding your mind and she said, “Kimberly what are you “REALLY” hoping for?” Hebrews 11:1 jumped into my head immediately. The question I want us to consider is what are we “REALLY” hoping for in our spiritual lives, families, careers, relationships, etc? We must all recognize that our lives are a manifestation of our hope. If I am hoping to just get by, well you best believe that if I hope that long enough I do “just get by.” Your faith connects to your hope and that means we have to be clear on what we are “really” hoping for daily. We should never forget that our minds are the control tower for our destinies. Therefore, we must stay connected to God the power source and give our thoughts clear direction on what we are really hoping for in this life.
Love and Peace,
Kimberly
