2 Chronicles 20:17

Ye shall not need to fight in this
battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with
you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against
them: for the LORD will be with you.

I was leaving work today and as I glanced at the back of a small grey vehicle I noticed the following bumber sticker...

"Salvation is not a goal achieved but a "GIFT" recieved!!!"

Do you ever stop and think about the greatest gift that you ever recieved??? Well, before I saw this bumper sticker I may have answered my husband, children, family, and perhaps my home. However when I reflected upon my life and the many, many sins, mistakes, and wrong doings that I have been forgiven for then my greatest gift is SALVATION!!

Salvation is a gift that we often take for granted. We forget the price that JESUS paid when he died the cross so that we might have a right to the tree of life. Have you taken the time to thank God for the precious gift of salvation? Take sometime today and meditate on what your gift of salavation really means. Set yourself before God my sister, stand still and see the salvation please don't forget that the LORD is with you!! Have you taken the time to thank GOD for his precious gift????
